Beco

Greco and Beco are retired mascots of the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), representing the agency’s efforts to promote green and sustainable building practices.

Beco, an orange house with a blue roof, represented “Best Construction”. The mascot highlighted the importance of high-quality, safe, and efficient construction practices. Together with Greco, they serve as ambassadors for BCA’s initiatives in fostering a greener and more sustainable built environment.

The duo was frequently featured in BCA’s outreach programmes, events, and educational campaigns, engaging students and industry professionals to raise awareness about sustainable construction practices and the BCA Green Mark, which certified green buildings. Two children’s books featuring Greco and Beco were also distributed to schools, which aimed to inspire students to initiate green projects, such as setting up green corners.

Greco and Beco were retired after the release of the second book titled The Adventures of Greco and Beco: The School in the Glass City.
