Jaga is the cybersecurity mascot introduced by the Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech). Initially designed to promote cybersecurity awareness and safe digital practices among public sector officers, Jaga has since expanded its role in 2025 to serve as the community’s official cybersecurity mascot. The name “Jaga” is derived from the Malay word for “guard” or “watch over,” reflecting the mascot’s role in protecting users from cyber threats. Jaga was created by marketing consultancy GERMS Digital.

Jaga has mouse cursors for three of Jaga’s quill tips, as well as bulging eyes and a wide smile. Besides being featured on GovTech’s cybersecurity content on social media, the hedgehog mascot also had plushies and even a 3D trophy pointing guns made from keyboards.

In 2024, GovTech launched the Let’s Jaga Together campaign, which included a short animated video introducing Jaga’s enemies - Kingphisher the Cybercriminal Mastermind and Phishy Pigeons the Cyber Threat Actors. GERMS Digital designed the campaign, which included a refreshed look for Jaga.

In 2025, Jaga fronted the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore’s sixth national cybersecurity campaign “Stop and Check”. Rendered in 3D, Jaga was featured in the campaign video and key visuals holding up a “stop” road sign, encouraging the community to pause and check if unsolicited requests and messages are real, before acting.
