Spark is the official mascot of Youthopia, a youth-focused content platform under the National Youth Council (NYC) of Singapore. The mascot embodies the energy, aspirations, and creativity of Singaporean youth, and was inspired by the five SG Youth Action Plan values: inclusiveness, fairness, care, sustainability, and progress. Designed as an idea spark, the mascot wears a Youthtopia hoodie and a spiky head.
Local toy designer Mighty Jaxx developed Spark alongside two other characters, Zap and Bud. Together, the trio, known as the Architects of Tomorrow, symbolised the technology, creativity, and innovation of young adults. In a public poll, Spark emerged as the favourite and was chosen as Youthopia’s official mascot.
Spark is frequently featured across Youthopia’s digital content, social media platforms, and events, where it engages young Singaporeans in discussions about aspirations, challenges, and opportunities.
