Tembi is the official mascot of the Silver Government Office (SGO), introduced in 2024 to inspire active ageing, volunteerism and foster a caring and inclusive society. The SGO conducts last-mile communication of new government schemes for seniors such as the Pioneer Generation Package and Merdeka Generation Package.
Named after the Heritage Tembusu Tree at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Tembi’s design comprises a sturdy tree trunk body and a luscious red crown housing a pink heart. Tembi also has additional hearts - one as a patch on its trunk and one on each of its hands.

Kerlyn Koh, a first-year Digital Animation student from ITE College Central, submitted the winning design for the mascot design competition organised by SGO, besting over 70 other entries from tertiary schools.
